development of methods for nucleic acids analysis (hybridization, PCR, RCA, cartridge for DNA isolation)
Head of the group: PhD (biology) Mikhailovich Vladimir Mikhailovich

  1. Methods of amplification of nucleic acids on biological microchips:
    • Multiplex PCR
    • Allele-specific PCR
    • Quantitative PCR with real-time detection
  2. Optimization of nucleic acid hybridization on biological microchips in order to increase specificity and sensitivity of the assay and to decrease assay time.
  3. Development of universal procedure for the isolation of nucleic acids from different biological samples (blood, plasma, saliva, cerebrospinal fluid, urine, etc.)
  4. Development of method for rapid destruction of bacterial spores.
  5. Creation of automated systems for treatment of biological samples.
